CLF LEDbar PRO premiered this year’s Defqon.1 Festival

The 2018 edition of this major hardstyle festival featured 236 of the brand new CLF LEDbar PRO linear LED battens.

Defqon.1 is one of the biggest outdoor dance festivals and takes place in Biddinghuizen, the Netherlands. The festival is organized by Q-Dance which is also responsible for famous concepts like Q-Base and Qlimax.

CLF LEDbar PRO fixtures were located all over the impressive mainstage, produced by Q-Dance. Hans Bokkinga, owner of Habo, comments: ‘We were looking for a powerful linear fixture to outline the shape of the stage. When looking for a linear fixture we found the CLF LEDbar PRO, which immediately caught our attention because of the big reflectors. Because of these, the fixtures are very usable for large scale shows like this.

Next to the LEDbar PRO, other CLF fixtures were deployed during the festival. CLF Ares LEDwashes were responsible for illuminating the impressive decoration and 136 CLF Aorun beams were also included in the impressive design. ‘We really like the CLF fixtures because of their high value for money’, comments Bokkinga.

Operator on duty Pascal Parent (Ten Feet) was very impressed after his first job with the LEDbars. ‘They really stand out because of their high output. And just like other CLF LED products like the Ares and Yara I often use, the colors are very deep and saturated.‘

Furthermore, Pascal Parent is satisfied with the CLF Aorun. ‘They are the fastest beams I know’, comments Parent. ‘Together with their solid and phat beam they are the ideal fixture for hardstyle and EDM events.’

The CLF LEDbar PRO is a multifunctional linear LED batten. Because of the 24° beam angle it can be used as cyclorama as well as pixel controlled effect machine. 10 Individually controllable high power RGBW LEDs deliver a rich color set.

All fixtures were supplied by leading Dutch dry-hire company Rent-All.
