CLF Shines Bright During Amsterdam Dance Event 2025
Once again, Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) proved to be the beating heart of the global electronic music scene — with productions that push creative and technical boundaries every year. From the Ziggo Dome to Dockyard x Mystic Garden, CLF fixtures illuminated some of ADE’s most talked-about stages, showcasing their output, reliability, and versatility in high-pressure environments.
Below, we highlight four key productions where CLF fixtures made a lasting impression.
Klangkuenstler – Ziggo Dome

During Klangkuenstler’s Outworld show at the Ziggo Dome, CLF Lighting played a crucial role in shaping the night’s high-impact visual identity. A staggering 224 CLF Poseidon Laser Beam XS fixtures were deployed to create a sharp, architectural beam aesthetic that matched the industrial, high-energy atmosphere of the performance.
Commissioned by Backbone, the lighting and sound production were executed by Production People, while Power Productions oversaw full production management on behalf of the artist.
According to Berend Janssen, Technical Producer at Power Productions, CLF has long been part of their trusted toolkit:
“We’ve long used the Aorun as our go-to beam, so when CLF launched the Poseidon Laser Beam XS, we were eager to adopt it. For Klangkuenstler’s Outworld concept, we had total confidence in its output and stability — which is why we committed to 224 units for the show.”

Amsterdam Music Festival – Johan Cruijff ArenA

The Amsterdam Music Festival (AMF) remains one of ADE’s flagship productions, bringing together the world’s top electronic artists and an international audience of tens of thousands inside the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
For the 2025 edition, Production People, on behalf of Insomniac, delivered the full stage technical production — a high-precision environment where lighting, staging, and video converge at stadium scale.
Lighting design, programming, and direction were handled by Maoss_design, who opted for a highly innovative approach: nearly all moving fixtures were positioned behind the LED walls. This bold choice resulted in a clean, layered stage architecture where lighting added depth and dimensionality rather than acting as surface decoration.
To achieve this refined visual language, an extensive CLF package was deployed throughout the ArenA.

ADE Events (Verknipt & Free Your Mind) – AFAS Live

Across multiple ADE events at AFAS Live — including Verknipt and Free Your Mind — CLF fixtures helped shape some of the week’s most energetic and immersive indoor productions.
Verknipt ADE is known for its high-energy techno programming, powerful drops, and fast-paced visual show moments — making it one of the most intense indoor events of the ADE week.
Free Your Mind ADE offered a different atmosphere, combining melodic and progressive electronic music with a warm, immersive visual environment. The event attracted a diverse ADE audience and delivered a more narrative-driven experience across the venue.
Technical production for all events was provided by 360 Show Design, with lighting design and operation by WH Lights, and full equipment supply by AVL Rent.

Dockyard x Mystic Garden Festival – Havenpark Amsterdam
At Dockyard x Mystic Garden Festival, held at Havenpark Amsterdam, CLF fixtures brought two contrasting universes to life: Dockyard’s raw, industrial character and Mystic Garden’s colorful, enchanted atmosphere. Across multiple stages, CLF units provided both the rugged power required for heavy techno and the subtle tonality suited to more immersive, theatrical environments.
Technical production was delivered by YES! Your Event Support, with lighting equipment supplied by Rent-All.
