Tinderbox is Denmark’s new city festival. About 40.000 guests made their way to Tusindårsskoven in the city of Odense. This festival brings some of the world’s most popular acts to Denmark. One of them was Suspekt, a Danish hip hop group featuring rappers Bai-D and Orgi-E.
Johnny Thinggaard Lydiksen from CMY.dk, was responsible for the lighting and production design during the show of Suspekt festival tour at Tinderbox. ‘’The last tour we did with Suspekt was based on an old school parcan expression. But this tour I felt that the expression could be a little more modern, so it was obvious to find a LED par where I could still get the large amount but also get the opportunity to change the expression in colors and moods’’, says Johnny.
Johnny includes a massive amount of CLF Yara in his design. ‘’I have worked with CLF Yara on a TV show as part of the venue decoration. I really liked their output and was really super happy that shades of all colors were similar to the amount I had on that show. Both with my eyes as on camera.” He also used the CLF Yara at the Danish television awards ‘Crown Prince Couple’s Prices 2018’ as a venue decoration light. I especially chose for the Yara during this show, because I really liked the rapid color and intensity changes and last but not least, the stability of CLF Yara.”
The next projects will be mainly television designs and some music shows. The next show which includes the CLF Yara will be an outdoor Christmas decoration. Johnny: ‘’I think they will fit perfectly’’.
